In the past year I've had about one or two times when I would have had a use for one. And both of those two times I was able to use a pay phone. Definatly not worth spending my money on a cell phone. Even when I'm in the house I very rarely ever use the phone other then for getting on the internet. I just don't have anywhere to call or get calls from.

having a cell phone doesnt make you a spoiled bitch....More than 3/4 of our kids in my school have cell phones.

Also buying it yourself when your are 13 doesn't not (double negative but it didn't sound right without it) make you a spoiled bitch. After all, where the hell do you get money from when you are 13?

My parents actually offered to pay for one for me last year, but I said I have no use for it and I'd rather have them pay for cable internet instead. But they said no to that even though its the same price
