Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Why must you restate yourself in another thread? When you have new ideas, then post. Also, I am a normal Christian no new, you don't have the right to call me that. I will just start calling you a new homosexual, after all we are just making up terms here. You haven't torn a book apart, just stated your beliefs about it.

425 million years... geez. Wonder how long my penis will be around.
Truth is a possession.

And you haven't proven to me that my God doesn't exist as laid out by my criteria.

I am glad that for the simple reason that I don't feel like arguing with you over this debate because you have no proper concept of faith (which I am not using as a substitute for knowledge but just as in believing in what you can't prove) in a higher being but rather must try to insult others until you feel better makes you think that I have a lack of intelligence. Just proves more about you. :D The Christian God, as I see it is omnipotent and no matter how many times you reword your same story about man being in a life of suffering it will not make it any more significant. Not to say that it is not significant as it has obviously effected your life enough to give you your current beliefs. Why must you find so much pleasure in attempting to change my religious views? Are you just an ass that doesn't like people being content?

A contradiction in the bible should be a serious problem for any Christian; does faith allow you to ignore contradictions? Honestly, why do you make light of a serious contradiction in a book that you live your life by?

And don't forget who threw the first barb in this topic, Trae. It was you, in case you didn't remember. That says something about you.

Why do I waste my time trying to get you to look at your religion critically? Well, each and every person walking around with a faith-based value system is a liability to me -- especially in a democratic society. Take, for example, the anti-abortion standpoint Christians promote: it's a huge drain on society. I bet thousands of children are born into homes with inadequete resources everyday because of the mind-fuck the mother got in church. I'll also wager that several of those children are severely handicapped; and should have been terminated.

Hell, they just banned partial birth abortion with misinformation; that ones going to cost the tax payer a couple million over the next decade.

I heard this on radio today "You can't stand still on a moving train"; that sums up my feelings on this rather well. Look at the politicians that run our country: do you think an athiest/agnostic could be president? I don't; they'd have to get "born again" ASAP if they had any chance in getting into office.
