ran startx...error

"execve failed for /etc/x11/X (errno 13)"

I configured the graphics card, but might not have been correct.

You'll probably need to go over the configuration again. The config file should be /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 (or /etc/X11/XF86Config), anyways it's best to use the XFDrake front-end (you should run that as root).

You might wanna try using regular vga or vesa for testing whether you can get X up at all.

And verily we saw that SuSE doesn't provide ISOs for free...
So it was attempted to download...
And so it was failed due to overrun servers and crappy setups...
