it's still a laptop with tinny speakers, and a small screen. i'll take a cheap tablet and a desktop anyday over that.

I'll be going to college with this, I don't want a desktop. Nor do I want a tablet, I don't see the point when I can write on a piece of paper.

You must have one helluva camera to be able to "scan" them by taking photos. I've just tried it with my 4 MegaPixel Minolta and I just can't get a clear image. I've tried manual focus, twiddling in PS, high zoom, low zoom etc. It's impossible. And at any rate, assuming each photo is 2-4MB, you're going to run out of disk space mighty quick.

So I can't reduce the resolution on the images? My screen res is 768x1024. Why would I need them bigger than that? And they're all mainly black and white.

I usually just read the textbooks outside of class, I don't need to scan any pages. On occassion I'll photo in 6 or 12 pages that I need for the day to scratch on in the margins.

Matt, can you turn on attachments of .JNT files, i.e. add it to the list of accepted extensions?
