According to the forest service, you should get 1 hour of sleep for every 2 hours of hard work...

so, when i'm working on a fire, they only allow us 6 hours of sleep if we had a 12 hour shift.. 7 if 14 hour shift, 7+14 = 21 hours. So that leaves 3 hours to eat breakfast, shower, get dressed, and then eat dinner, and get ready for bed..

if it wasn't such good money, I could see it getting very boring..
