Well, NFS:Underground crashes. CoD crashes (legitimate versions, I should perhaps add). Most annoyingly of all,
TFC (standard opengl) crashes. It seems to be a problem between the ATI card and the KT400A chipset. I've done all the "fixes" that people suggest - running things without fastwrite, on AGP4,2,...1... but even running things on their
lowest specs, 3d stuff just isn't reliable.
Without the gfx card being used for 3d, things are 100% stable - I've
thrashed(trust me, I thrash hardware

) the CPU (AMD 2600+ IIRC) +RAM (Corsair Low Latency Platinum (LLPT)) on
100% usage for a few
days and all is
fine.
Frankly I'm not sure which one I want to throw into the bin - the VIA chipset (never, ever, ever, again will I buy a mobo with a piece-of-shit Via chipset), or the ATI gfx card + drivers. ATI drivers always used to piss me off - the early Rage drivers were terrible, as were the Radeons' driver ... , and I'm not sure they'll ever get the option to do so again...
Whereas the NVidia Gf460MX or whatever it is in my P4 has
never crashed (seriously, it's
never died). The GF2 that I had also never crashed. Hell, the TNT2 Ultra and even the Riva 128 didn't die so much as this fscking "ATI" abomination.
