For like the last year or so I've been having the same dream over and over again. Here goes:
I am walking around in a seemingly infinite room, looking for heaven knows what. I have a katana, some sort of gun (Varies from dream to dream), and a knife. Then this thing walks out in front of me. I have no idea what it looks like, but I know it's terrifying and shrouded in black. I must attack it. That's what I do every time. I slash and scream, shoot, punch, kick, stab, etc etc etc but the piece of crap never dies. It sits there and laughs the whole time. I almost am seeing the death of this thing, I want it so bad. I rehearse it over and over, but I always end up a crumpled heap on the floor, tired, frustrated, and helpless. Often one of my best friends will be in some sort of mortal danger by this monster, but they sit there and scream "Why can't you save me? Why?" Usually the thing will pick me up and try to throw me very very high (I am mortally terrified of hights) and fast, and I will wake up in a cold sweat clutching the matress. My mom says I talk in my sleep too...
On a better note, don't you absolutely love those dreams where you are in control? I've had dreams where I was able to roam about a land in my head at free will, do anything I wanted. I sometimes don't want to wake up because these dreams are so enjoyable.
