I don't think even they are quite as stupid as that. If they delayed it, the next morning they'd have a 10.000 man strong angry mob with tar, feathers and pitchforks outside their corporate HQ..

I think most people stopped caring about HL2 a year ago. I know I couldn't give a rat's ass about it now.
Two cupcakes were in an oven. One turned to the other and said "Damn, it sure is hot in here" and the other one said "HOLY SHIT! A TALKING CUPCAKE!"

Getting funding from VUG, and then distributing it yourself is a real bastardly thing to do. If that's the case, I hope Valve gets put in its place.
