Les Pauls are versatile, so it would be fine for most styles of music.....country, rock, punk, metal, etc. That seems like kind of a high price, though. But if you go and play it, and like it, then go ahead and buy it. I'm sure it's a nice guitar.

As someone that works with these programs all the time, protools is over-rated IMO. Though we had the money, we decided against protools just because we didn't want to have all those rack mounts everywhere. We instead opted for a custom system built by . In my opinion, it's just as good as protools for what we do, and allows us to - in addition to the studio's system - have a mobile recording rig that is far more portable than a similar protools setup.

True, true. Protools, is one of those things you that you have to hate because its an industry standard, yet you're forced to love because its an industry standard.

You can pretty much do anything that protools can do using Adobe audition (cool edit pro), Cubase, Sonar, or a dozen other programs, etc..... but.. ehm.. I forgot where the end of my argument was going.

Um... are we talking about guitars? I'm drunk.. buy a Schecter, and put some Seymour Duncan pickups on it.
