Well, I don't mean "left" as a derogatory term but rather as a way to clasify certain political views.

I am not sure people I refer to would be upset by the label - I think they are proud leftists and ,frankly, there is nothing wrong with that.

That's more than can be said about Kerry who seem to unable to commit himself to either side of the issue - after all he is a masterfull politician.
