Again, using the same logic US is responsible for millions of people who lost their lives because we enabled Stalin's survival.
I don't buy that.
We did not start that war nor we encouraged Saddam to play dirty(chemical) with Iranians and certainly not with his own people.
We did support the guy because, at that time, Iranians were ( and I think still are) greater risk to our interests and thus supporting Saddam made sense.
He alone is responsible for his crimes.
What I don’t understand is people who make a big deal of this issue, while at the same time criticizing USA for attempting to remove that very guy from power.
Obviously, this is not about Saddam or Iran or whatever … it is about good old USA.
Everyone hates the richest kid on the block – especially the one that , despite going against everything what in certain circles passes as a modern and civilized society , inexplicably seems to be getting with every passing decade…
