You have yet to give a good reason for why Pitchfork is a terrible website. Let's look at your last post:
Reason: Pitchfork sucks because they gave some dude's LP a better score than its EP though they aren't that different.
Look, different people reviewing different music will obviously give different scores. That's a reality of any website.
Reason: Some dude got good scores on other websites and a poor score on Pitchfork.
DUH! Good Charlotte gets great reviews some places; does that mean they're a great band? Some people will always have something good to say about a band. That doesn't mean that the band is good.
Just because they differ with you sometimes doesn't mean they suck. That's sort of what you get when you have dozens of people reviewing different albums; not everyone agrees. I, personally, think the Faint are a pretty shitty band (although that one song with 'agenda' in its title was okay), so I agree with Pitchfork's review. I also think that Radiohead is one of the best bands to have graced this planet, so I'm clearly with them there, too.
Pitchfork is actually more discriminating than most other websites, which I happen to like. PopMatters gives way too much shit a good review when it doesn't deserve it.
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.
