This is a clear progress in the nation that hasn't hold elections in decades.
If it weren't for US action in Afghanistan there wouldn't be any elections to begin with.
If you don't see it then that's because you don't want to see it.

Wow Warmi. That’s a great example; prove that Afghanistan isn't so fucked up by showing how we are. I'll be the first one in line to tell you that our elections our fucked up. Bush on the other hand is benefiting from the fact that when he talks about these wondrous elections in Afghanistan no one realizes the corruption taking place. Granted, this is just an effect of having the first electing in a former oligarchy but people are too stupid to realize any of it.
