Casio PPC's Not Upgradeable

I just went to MS's Pocket PC website and saw that they had announced the PPC 2002 OS.  And read that PPC's with flash ROM could easily upgrade to this.  Myself owning a Cassiopeia E-125 (had it since around last November) I was distraught knowing that it doesn't have flash ROM.  So I called up Casio just now and found out that there is absolutely no way to upgrade my cassiopeia E-125 to the new Pocket PC 2002 Operating System.  This really pisses me off, considering I spent close to $600 on my E-125.

No one should be suprised over that. Casio wouldn't even let their customers upgrade from CE 2.11 to 3.00 with the E-105, when it obviously was do-able (as they actually offered it for a very short time, and the E-115 is the exact same hardware with the newer ROM). So Casio has exhibited a history of not looking out for their customers and forcing obsolescence of their products. Of course I guess that's expected from a company who made their mark making wrist-watches and calculators.<br><br>Dan East
