The only reason I'm even bothering to post to this thread is because I feel I've had an insight of sorts, and want to enlighten the rest of you with it.

Let's say you are teleported to the year 2050. You witness someone from that era pull a flat, portable computing device out of their pocket. What do you expect they are able to do with that little piece of hardware, 50 years more advanced than what we have now? The answer? Any freaking thing they want. It will be able to do things that the most powerful computers on earth can't do today.

Now let me ask you this. Which is closer to that end, a Palm Pilot, or an iPaq? To sum it up, Pocket PC's situation is "A step in the right direction", compared to Palm's "One foot cemented firmly in the past", or judging from their slumping sales; "One foot in the grave".

Dan East
