Active sync problem!

Active sync problem!

Postby Philip Dayley » Dec 2, 2001 @ 1:47am

I just recieved a new Casio E-125. I only have my old E-100 cradle, and I am attempting to sync it with that. The unit will try to connect to the comp and the comp will try to connect with the unit, yet, somewhere in the middle it gets shot. What should I do to try and fix this problem? Thanks in advance

Philip

My cradle is the same as the E-125 serial cradle. They both match up. I don't have USB on my comp.

often if you restart your computer, and hit the reset button on the back of your device it will work, ActiveSync is very buggy. Also, make sure serial is selected in activesync's "connection settings" and that it is using the correct Com port.

I have tried that. Nothing seems to work. I can't even get it connect once, so I can't set up a partnership. Please help!
