Hi peeps, is it possible to format my HP Jornada 525 and then re-install the original software? I did make a backup originally but have changed pc's and forgot to save the backup to disk. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.
What you're talking about is called a hard reset. It deletes everything you installed on the PPC but the original programs. If you did a backup, you then can reinstall everything back. Obviously you'll need the backup file.

you'll need to hold the reset button on the back and the the power button on the front for about 5 seconds and that'll return the device to the way it was when you bought it.
