Library Girl Thread

Uhm... well. I have NO idea. If she's said no the last two times to a date then maybe you should lay off for a little while. Persistance is good, but I kind of like persuasive style. Convince her that she should try it once. Then it's up to you to wow her, or something. If you do get your band started then you could ask her to attend a 'practice' in your garage after you've got SOMETHING going. That sounds like a good idea. But uhm... maybe you should ... hrmm, try asking her out as a friend and then just do everything that you can 'right.' Hold doors, pay for everything, open the car door, just treat her special and don't make her feel like it's a date.
So there are two courses of action that I can see:
1) PERSUADE her to try just ONE date and do your best to make it a good one.
2) Ask her out as a friend, don't 'weird her out' with any feelings like it is a date, and DON'T make a move, just make her feel comfortable around you. Then later you could make your move.
But don't take my advice to the letter. Really just be yourself, don't do anything you wouldn't normally do. Laugh, be comfortable, talk, make conversation. You don't want it to be awkward at ANY time if possible, and you don't want to do anythign that would weird her out. I'd need more information for anything more concrete... and I've got a college essay to write, I can't be distracted by thinking about girls right now! :D

Hmm, there's a school dance on Saturday night, but I don't really want to go, because I really don't like dances at all. I was thinking about asking her to go to a movie on Friday night, that's easy, and it would be harder to not impress her at the movies than at dinner. (and cheaper!!) It's just that I don't know if she's interested at all about me. If we pass in the corridor or stairwell, she doesn't look at me or say anything. The last time I asked her out was well over a month ago. Around the early part of December, so that's plenty of time. The thing is, that we don't have ANY time to talk. THE LAST TIME I'VE SAID ANYTHING TO HER WAS THE LAST TIME I ASKED HER OUT! I think I'll wait til next week to ask her again, just incase she wants to go to that dance, 'cause I'd do anything not to go. Yes, I'd like to go out with her as a friend at first, but if she wants to make a move, well! I can't be held responsible for what happens... All I know is that she likes Rage Against The Machine. You know what's weird? Me and my friend where battling over who would get this girl, AND YOU KNOW WHAT!!! NEITHER OF US WIN!! And they say guys are picky! Jeez...

Uhm... I hope you were joking about telling her you love her in any language.
You've got to understand that girls get "weirded out" quite easily.
I'm getting sick of talking about girls... that's all I think about anymore:
girls, college, what girls I know are going to what colleges, the college essay I have to right, what I'd like my college essay to be about, what girls I know are goign to college that I like, how nice girls are, how nice colleges are, how fun college will be, how fun girls are, how many girls will be at colleges.
That's been my thought 'loop' for the last 3 days, ever since about Saturday at 12:30.

i messed up again.

i was sitting around in the library then she came in so i just looked down again like an idiot then she walked behind me and (i guess because there wast much room) hit me in the back with her bag.

she turned round while she walking to say sorry and stuff and all i did was look up for a fraction of a second then down again. i dont believe in saying anything when people say sorry after doing something accidentally anyway - i mean, its not like she meant to.

anyways, that girl i know (the spanish holiday one) is having her birthday soon so i may just tell her about it. or not.... hmm, probably not.

My sister and her friend just went out to a Hallmark store to buy me a teddy bear stuffed with candy to give to my chic for Valentine's Day. I feel a little funny about this, not because my sister is buying the teddy bear, but...I don't know, there's this little voice in the back of my head that keeps saying, "screw-it, the girl doesn't want you!", but I don't know, I don't want to give up. And another thing, I was just talking with a senior friend, and he said, "see this, I used to have $200 in my wallet, and as of yesterday, it's now $40 because of my girlfriend." See, I wouldn't want a girl whose in it just for expensive material goods, plus I don't have ANY freakin' money, I kind of just bought a car... WHICH my chic likes very much .

Paul, that's what I did the first time I asked out my chic, I kept my hands in my pockets and just looked down like an idiot. But the next time I asked her, I kept my hands out of my pockets, looked right at her, and joked around instead of studder like an idiot. It was a lot better, and she was perfectly honest.

Oh, Paul, when I read your location, I turned to look behind me, until I realized how stupid I was.

Well, my mom came home the other day with all the Valentine's junk. It's a midsized white stuffed puppy with a dopy red ribbon on it, with a rose in which the flower is made of chocolate (I was thinking of eating it instead of of giving it to my chic, but...you know), a small box of chocolates, a card that actually isn't dopy and corny, and an embarrassing bag with a puppy on it to transport all this junk. I think it's a little too much stuff, but oh well, I didn't pay for it. Do you think she'll like it? I don't even know if she likes dogs. I personally dislike dogs, I'm a cat person, but the card has a cartoon cat on it, so... I don't know, hey Pam, what do you think??
