You sure got a point there - well - how would you improve it then!

Snails have already improved upon worms quite a lot in a great many respects - and hey, it runs on a ppc! Well, then how to tweak the system of transferring stocks of cash'n'guns? - well, you could have the loosers stock of weapons doubled, and the winner get a cash increase in the lows of 5 - 10 %... I donno - I'm really not good at balancing games - I just can't seem to get past my own desire to win! *S*

But hear, hear - let's support the reuse of the scheme from Worms with carryover stock - but also support the improvements anybody can come up with - for this scenario...

Let's hear it - what ideas do you have? (as in you in plural)

Statistics

Postby ShALLaX » Feb 1, 2002 @ 5:30pm

Heh, that was another one of my ideas i sent in while it was pre-beta.. add a "Most picked on", "Most damage dealt", "Least damage dealth" range of statistics at the end of the game... These are AWESOME for tie breakers and proving you ARE the best :)

resume?

Postby tico » Feb 3, 2002 @ 6:23pm

Sometimes I'm playing a mission and i have to do something in another program, so I would like a resume feature (I know that it's not such a big deal to start over, but it stops me sometimes from playing again).

Sorry if this is implemented already, but i haven't been able to do it.

Congrats on a great game, at an excelent price.

Well, lucky for you Rirath, we are working on some new missions. It'll be a little while before they are released, but Peter has a new version already with better AI and lots more goodies.

Also, if you people are thinking the AI is too easy, try low damage weapons and 15 seconds for turn time. Combine that with the highest difficulty and you should be in for a challenge.

I can't wait, it should be fun. I'm not against replaying previous missions though, it's always a different game each time. The only complaint I have with deathmatching isn't the AI however, it's the money system. I just liked going into missions with the weapons I was given, instead of choosing them from a menu. I can see how some people would enjoy that, but it's just not me.

I like solutions, not problems. I'll just blindfold myself and pick some weapons that way.

Sometimes the AI makes incredible shots, but I have made quite a few myself. Sometimes I just point the arrow and hope for the best- those are often the shots are the most incredible, funniest and most gratifying.

I suppose a weapons randomizer for the Deathmatch mode wouldn't be out of the question. That actually sounds like alot of fun to me.

I just obtained the latest build and testing it now. If all looks good, we can release it soon (free update for registered users).

Usually your IP is static unless it's changed by request. If the games are hosted ON the server, cable won't be enough, but if all it is is a matchmaking type service, it should work better. Seeing as I don't have a PPC with working internet (outside of the cradle) PPC vs PC users would be fun. Sadly these things never usually work out, look at EliteNet and RocketElite. Never was able to play a game on that, no people.
holy internets batman.

Okay, I know that having a practice stage for projectiles is not on many peoples favorites list, but how about a bonus round that gets unlocked when you beat the game or something. I just like blowing things up and I think it would be great to have some targets or something. You could even have a bonus round strategically placed at different points in the game to allow you to get extra snails in the next round or unlock certain bonus weapons!!!
