What brands would that be? Remember that I'm in the US, we don't have most of the European cars. Brazil actually has more cars than us. There's some VWs just made for Brazil, like the Santana and Fox, and of course the Sedan for South America and Mexico (the "Sedan" is the old-style Beetle, only made new, so yes, VW still makes the old Bug). Do you mean like BMW or Mercedes? BMW is excellent, world class, but Mercedes, sadly, has slumped in the past few years, but only in the US. Why? Because they made a new factory in the US, in Alabama, so the quality is WAY down now. The M-Class's reliability is rated negative 113%, where 0% is the average :?. This happened to VW in the last 1980s to the early 1990s. They had a factory in Philadelphia, which made the worst VWs ever. No offense, but because it was made by Americans. After quite a few years of crap, they shut down the factory and built one in northern Mexico, which is still in use today. Peugeot, Renault, and Citroën are good. Lancia, Skoda, SEAT, Fiat, Alfa, Opel, and others are good too. But being in the US, we're stuck with a very limited selection. VW sells several other models in Europe, that are not sold in the US, like the Polo and Lupo, same with Audi, like the A3, S3, RS3, A2, S2, RS6, RS4, S8, RS8, and I think that's it. In the US, we're stuck with American junk. What's really sad, is that Japanese cars are actually very very good, the ones in Japan... but the ones in the US are made in the US, so sadly, well, they're crap. People in Europe make fun of American cars in Europe, but the ones in Euro are a million times better than the ones in the US! Whenever a person from Europe visits the US and rents an American car, they are always appauled at how much worse the car was than they thought.

I don't call it a fixation, I call it more of a......fetish. Well, no no, fixation, yes, let's keep it at fixation.

And Werner, what is your car?

I have a GM Astra. It's basically a garage car, but it's lame on acceleration. Top speed is enough for me though. But if I could, I would have an Audi A3 or A4.

The A3 isn't sold up here, but I saw a bunch in Japan, I like the blue one. The S3, now that's cool. My mom's favorite car is the Mercedes A-Class, that's not sold up here, but is it sold in Brazil?

Oh, you know what? This summer, I may be able to work for the local police department, and get to be an advanced-patrol officer, which means that I may be able to drive around my own police cruiser (the town's getting 2 more soon), and just drive around all day and get paid for it! And don't worry, there's a laptop in every car, so I'll be able to play games while sitting on the side of the road, and will have all the time in the world to post here at pm! YAY!

Oh, and VW and Audi are the same company, called Volkswagen Audi AG! VW Audi AG is also part of Porsche AG, so really VW, Audi, and Porsche are all the same company. They own Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Saab Scania (only the semi-truck part), Skoda Auto, and Seat (Seat is a Spanish car company, real good, pernounced "see-ot"). So VW is the largest auto company in the world, but GM is close.

Yup, VW bought them all. I think the A-Class (A160 and A180) is ugly and too much underpowered. Here in Brazil for almost the same price you can buy an A3, and that would be like trading a moped for a 500cc street bike.

i'm not gonna drive. i hate that shit. "hey bitch looka' ma' ride! well ho? i say get in da car bitch!" and so on... and she'd be all "hey! hes pretty fly for a white guy!" oh wait, that sounds good...

well anyway, i'm gonna use a bike, a proper bike not a damn motorbike or shit. and i'm gonna get a pilot licence to and the money i dont spend on cars can go towards a lovely plane... or a helicopter... or one of those little helicopters they had in the bond films...

whee!

Get a Porsche bicycle! You can say "Yeah, I have a Porsche", and library girl will say "Oh Paul! Can you give me a ride!" and you'll say "Ok, but you'll have to sit on my lap." and she'll say "Ok!"

get a private jet and see how the ladies treat you.

they'll do a lot more than just sit in your lap.
