take out the 2 batteries, disconnect the mains, take out any mmc/sd cards just in case, and let it sit for a minute.
then put the batteries back in, plug it back into the mains, put your sd/mmc back in...
hey presto, empty as the day you bought it.
it still won't run pq properly.
