Who ever said asm couldn't write an entire emulator is wrong. It may be difficult to understand at first, but asm can be used for anything, and there are many talinted people who know how to use it in that way. In fact, there is a gb emulator for the x86 written entirely in asm.

You people are reaching way to far.

What kind of person programs for a machine that MIGHT reach production stage in 2 years?
What kind of person programs entirely in ASM for a platform that will become obsolete in 2 months?
What kind of person programs an emulator of a console that has 10 buttons and a D-Pad when the PPC only has 4, 5 at most.
What kind of person tells someone about his program when he doesn't even have the source code to what he's porting yet?

Those screenshots are not fake, but what's stopping him from using PicturePerfect to display the PS copyright screen?
I don't know where to start refuting what you guys are saying, it's all to far-fetched to even begin. You're all reaching so far to verify this fantasy project for your own personal hopeless hope that it's pathetic... I'm sorry, but it is.

First, I never said this was real, I said in a years time it will be feasable. Also, you can use a gamepad for controlls. And, arm asm will not be obsolete in 2 months. The most that will happen is that it will gain a few more instructions that it can use. Think about it, if programs compiled for arm (the current) are first compiled into arm asm, then machine code, and are compatible, what makes you think that straight asm won't be compatible. Now, not everything would have to be in asm. For instance, the input routines could be in C. But, if you want this to be possible, good asm code is needed.
