A couple of "myths" to clear up:
a) On the Vox, a SD card is still slower than a CF (read is approx same but write is about 3X slower) - after evaluating 2 SD cards and several CF cards (I used 2 different 128MB SD cards which have the faster IO than MMC - I'd hate to see how slow MMC cards are).
b) Because you have 2 memory slots, 32MB is not a significant limitation - I own a 128MB SD card and install all apps on it - leaving the Vox with about 24MB RAM - expandability w/o extra bulk (ie. sleeves) is huge plus imho
c) Battery life, however, is a possible problem particularly if you're moving from iPAQ 3150 to Vox - both have similar rated batteries - the diff. is the Vox uses the battery to power the CF/SD slots as well as unit itself - power drain most evident when using 802.11b wireless CF or microdrive
d) As a result of battery life, recommend an external battery pack
I've owned mine for 3months and also own an iPAQ 3650 - have not touched my iPAQ at all since the Vox. Used to own a 3150 but had to sell to buy Vox.
64K colors, multibutton presses, diagaonal 8way pad (after patch), 2 memory slots and small form factor for $299 is a fantastic deal!
