Depends whether I'm at work or at the flat...:

Work

Either a compilation of my favourite tracks from my MP3 collection... the selection is too broad to list.

Or a compilation of choice metal if I'm in a bad mood with the crap that I have to go through (Machine Head, Anthrax, Tool, Deftones, Senser, Pantera, Soundgarden, Therapy?, Sevendust, W.A.S.P., BodyCount ...etc) .

Flat

I tend to go for quieter stuff and play full albums there. Favourite "coding" music tends to be electronic stuff like New Order (especially Substance) and Vangelis (especially the Blade Runner soundtrack). Other notable mentions would be Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love" and almost any Pink Floyd, or Fleetwood Mac albums.

Notable tracks:
The Prophecy Theme from the Dune soundtrack (Brian Eno)
The last three tracks on Gladiator (Hans Zimmer)

How does it feel
to treat me like you do?
When you've laid your hands upon me
And told me who you are
I thought I was mistaken
I thought I heard your words
Tell me, how do I feel
Tell me now, How do I feel

I think Kyle Minogue also likes this song, somehow every new song she brings out reminds me of it.

When I clean those millions of optical filters, I listen to Slipknot and Mushroomhead on my insanely awesome imported from Japan CD player. I need some more CDs though, those are the only ones I have! lol Hey, is there a place where I can download the original 192 kilobitrate songs? I don't want to waste my time with 128 quality, my CD player is too special for 128, I pamper it with 192 :D. Either that, or I buy the CDs from a store. 8)

Warren, only 192 KB? Go with 320 only, 192KB is trash. Or 1411 KB WAV files are the best. You've got broadband, right?
