I'd agree with moose insofar as 'love' is over used. However, I do believe in love at first sight...only with a twist.
I think you can meet a girl and imediately realize that she is a girl you will fall in love with.
I met a girl, in 1990, at RIC. I was with a friend visiting his girlfriend, and Lorna was her roommate. I remember perfectly what I saw. She was on the couch, writing in a spiral notepad. Her hair was up in a hastened bun, she was wearing a white t-shirt and blue sweatpants with paint stains on them. Her feet were curled up next to her, as she leaned on the arm writing. I KNEW I had to be with her...and I went to her dorm EVERY DAY for a week, with a rose, left it on her pillow, and waited for a call. FINALLY, she called, and we dated for nearly 5 years. I fell in love instantly, and to this day I still have love in my heart for her. However, she never wanted to get married and never wanted to have children, so it was doomed to fail...
