Maybe they jump away from your bones because you're not the mac. Eh? Eh. Ooohkay. Have you tried surfing for porn in class? When you find something interesting (farm animals, big burly gay black men, etc.) just flip the notebook their way and make jerking off motion with your hand, wink, lick your lips and they're all yours. Go ahead. Try it. It'll work.

I'd go with a laptop with a small screen. My powerbook is twelve inches and if anything, I wish it were smaller. I carry it around a lot and it's nice that it at least fits in my backpack.

My mac is pretty sweet. So far I've found that whatever it does that windows does, it does better (one exception--though I like the GUI of the xcode IDE, VS is less of a pain in the ass to develop with). I have a decent PC and wouldn't have considered a mac if it weren't for that. In fact, when I bought it, I only bought it because a) it was the smallest laptop in the store and b) I figured it had all the liberal coolness of being gay, except I wouldn't have to get fucked in the ass.

Plus the artsy girls use them. And we all know how loose they are. LOOSE. Like a lone sheep in a crowd of welshmen.
Truth is a possession.

if you're looking for a start-type menu, you can add your applications folder... or any folder for that matter to your dock. then you can click and hold and it'll show everything in that folder in a start menu style. you just go up to whatever you want and release, poof open.

Telling people to buy a mac over a windows laptop isn't a 'fanboy' it's intellegent. Especially for laptops where screen real estate is precious, the mac os is alot better. expose' alone is worth whatever stigma is associated with mac users (is there a stigma?). being able to run the pointer up to the top left corner and automatically see all the windows i have open is priceless.

Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."
